EI expands to Hawke’s Bay

October 10, 2020 Staff reporters

Eye Institute has expanded out of Auckland, opening a new surgery in Hawke’s Bay headed by consultant ophthalmologists, Drs Liz Insull and John Beaumont.

In a statement, Eye Institute welcomed Drs Insull and Beaumont to the business and said it was “thrilled” to now offer services in the Hawke’s Bay region. Specialising in general ophthalmology, refractive cataract, strabismus, pterygium and glaucoma surgery, Dr Beaumont has practised in the Bay for more than 20 years. Dr Insull is a New Zealand and UK-trained oculoplastic surgeon, with sub-speciality training in eyelid, lacrimal and orbital surgery and cosmetic eyelid surgery.

Eye Institute has four surgeries in Auckland, in Remuera, Northcote, New Lynn and Manukau, and one in the Hawke’s Bay.
