December 12, 2018 Staff reporters

The New Zealand Cornea and Contact Lens Society’s 2019 annual conference will be held at the Novotel Rotorua Lakeside from Thursday 28 February to Sunday 2 March, including two full days of conference on the Friday and Saturday, followed by the popular conference dinner.

Confirmed keynotes include Arizona-based Dr Arthur Epstein, a spokesperson for the American Optometric Association (AOA) and chair of the AOA’s Contact Lens and Cornea Section, and Sydney-based Mark Koszek, who specialises in contact lenses, orthokeratology, behavioural optometry and dry eye.

Dr Epstein is listed by Optometric Management as among the most influential in optometry today. He is a sought-after speaker having presented more than 1000 lectures on a variety of eye care topics in the US and internationally and is a prolific author. Mark Koszek has a large, full scope optometry practice in Sydney and has lectured extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia on contact lenses, dry eye and ocular diseases.

As always, a great line-up of New Zealand speakers will also share their knowledge with delegates.

Registration will open before Christmas at www.contactlens.org.nz.
