The Wellington Eye Centre is looking for a therapeutically qualified optometrist to assist with patient care in our busy central Wellington practice to start in early 2012. You will support the current medical and nursing staff in assessing patients before and after refractive, corneal and cataract surgery, and working up patients in routine clinics. You will be expected to use electronic records for all patient documentation. The Wellington Eye Centre has a comprehensive array of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment including anterior segment and Cirrus OCT, Pentacam topography, confocal microscopy, Carl Zeiss excimer and femtosecond lasers and the first Vederra accelerated cross linking system in New Zealand, so you will be exposed to technology not often available in private practice.
