Oertli CataRhex 3 and OS4

Device Technologies is introducing Swiss Oertli Instruments, a well-known brand among phaco and vitrectomy systems, to New Zealand and Australia.

The partnership complements Device Technologies’ existing surgical portfolio, from Oculentis’ premium intraocular lenses to Katena surgical instruments, which are known around the world for their quality and precision, said Altman, adding the company’s also excited about introducing the Capsulaser, a new laser approach using continuous laser energy rather than a pulsed beam. “The Capsulaser system provides a cost and time effective solution to create the ideal capsulotomy. Attaching to existing operating microscopes, it allows surgeons to create precise capsulotomies in less than a second.”
