WM’s sustainability move

William Morris London is introducing a new socially responsible range of eyewear, supporting its drive to improve traditional manufacturing processes to help the climate and the planet.

William Morris’ eco eyewear is made from bio-acetate, a material that will degrade in soil and is derived from cellulose from cotton or wood pulp. The thinners traditionally used in production do not degrade, whereas bio-acetate uses biodegradable vegetable oil thinners. William Morris’ dummy lenses and poly frame bags are also made from biodegradable and sustainable eco materials.
