Christchurch eyewear sister companies Dynamic Eyewear and Look Sharp Eyewear are the new, exclusive New Zealand distributors for De Rigo Vision.

Business growth and a change in personnel drove De Rigo to explore local companies with a larger distribution network, said De Rigo’s general manager Angelina Chee. “It was clear from our initial meeting that the guys at Dynamic and Look Sharp Eyewear had the same knowledge and passion for the New Zealand optical market as we have for the Australian market.”

Chee said De Rigo was looking for a company that could accommodate its whole, diverse brand portfolio and the team at Dynamic and Look Sharp were looking to expand their brand matrix. “It was perfect timing. It’s great to have the insight of a long-established local company representing our brands.”

Dynamic’s Paul Beswick said the team was excited to be partnering with De Rigo and to represent its collections in New Zealand. “The De Rigo brands will complement our current portfolio by offering internationally recognisable brand labels, something we are unable to offer currently.”

Supporting and servicing the different De Rigo collections will be spread between the Dynamic and Look Sharp teams, he said. “Collectively, we have five salespeople, so we can comfortably do justice to De Rigo’s great brands by distributing the collections between us all. We believe this partnership is the perfect combination, with De Rigo offering fantastic brands and Dynamic and Look Sharp Eyewear bringing good old fashioned New Zealand-owned and -operated service to our great customers.”
