Bausch + Lomb's new Blink Hygiene Daily Eyelid Wipes – targeting eyelid issues including allergies, inflammation, blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis – will be available in New Zealand in the first quarter of 2026.

“The new Blink wipes offer a convenient, gentle solution for removing debris, bacteria and irritants, supporting eyelid health and ideal for use before and after eye surgery, aiming for better patient compliance than traditional methods,” said Toomac Ophthalmic’s pharmaceutical account manager, Yvette Beattie.

The sterile, single-use wipes combine soothing and hydrating properties and are formulated with carefully selected ingredients for broad patient suitability, she said. These include hyaluronic acid, to hydrate and support moisture retention; aloe vera, to soothe irritation and calm inflammation; allantoin, to promote comfort and healing; and bio-glycerol, to nourish and moisturise.

Each wipe is a soft, sterile gauze and free of alcohol, parabens, latex and perfume, making them ideal for sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers and surgical patients of all ages, Beattie said.
