Re:Vision is hosting a minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) session for optometrists on the morning of Saturday 10 August (moved from 6 April) with Drs Divya Perumal and Mo Ziaei.

The free event kicks off with two sessions on MIGS co-management and the effects of preservatives on the anterior segment, followed by a hands-on dry lab workshop where participants can insert an iStent into a model eye to gain a practical idea of MIGS as part of the surgical toolkit.

Emphasising the importance of seamless communication and shared decision-making, this event aims to empower optometrists with the knowledge and tools to actively engage in the co-management of MIGS patients, ultimately contributing to enhanced patient care, improved outcomes and a holistic approach to glaucoma management, said hosts Drs Perumal and Ziaei.

Glaucoma prescribing points, breakfast and lunch are included. ‍For more, see https://www.revision.nz/physical-events/co-management-conference-copy
