Phoenix Eyewear has added a new brand to its portfolio, Woody’s Barcelona, available for the first time in New Zealand. Phoenix discovered Woody’s at Mido last year after being drawn in by the eyewear company’s colourful, vibrant and very busy display stand, said Phil Wilson. “If a stand at a trade show is full of people, you know you are on to a good thing.” Phoenix is still in the early stages of launching Woody’s new collection, but the response so far has been overwhelmingly positive, he added. “We have had a very high rate of sell-in from our first presentation to customers and the feedback has all been the same, ‘What a fantastic looking collection’ and ‘When can we have it?’ which is great."
